In ancient times women were revered for the gift of menstruation; it was a time of ceremony and insight. What changed? In celebration of International Women's Day, Bristol City Yoga and Flying Monkey Yoga will be hosting a 3 hour workshop designed to de-mystify this magic and invite partnership with our bodies.
Beginning with a gentle balancing asana sequence designed by Yoga Therapist Tina Nance, this workshop will then evolve into a forum to discuss our general wellbeing: nutrition, Yoga, exercise, all practices to help bring us back into sync with our cycles.
All proceeds from this workshop are in aid of Integrate, a Bristol-based charity that works with young people promoting gender equality and campaigns against all violence and abuse against women and girls (VAAWG). More about integrate here: http://integratebristol.org.uk/about/
