Date: Sunday 27th January
Location: Wild Wolf’s Yoga, St Nicholas St
It is said that animals live with a collective unconscious; cumulative experience of all of those that have gone before...
This is the first in a series of workshops investigating our relationship with the natural world and the creatures that dwell within it.
Co-taught by equine therapist Hayley Rivers and yoga teacher Ash Bond, these teachers will act as guides to move us as a group through discussion, story, asana, bodywork, visualisation, partner work and shamanic drumming. We will move from working with the rational, reasoning part of our brains into reconnecting with our feeling body; that visceral connection to the emotional part of the brain that animals work, feel and move from.
Hayley's incredible work with both the horses and those that choose to work with them has revealed much about how we as humans work with asserting boundaries, how we place ourselves within our community, how we can respond more authentically to the messages that we receive from our own bodies and the bodies around us.
Hosted in the beautiful workshop space of Wild Wolf's Yoga; all bodies and levels of Yoga experience are welcome.
